Each year in July, CT Church hosts a community event called the Back-to-School Health Fair. We bring together many different vendors who donate their time and resources to children going back to school. Such services include: Immunizations by the Blue Cross Blue Shield Care Van for Children, eye exams by Lens Crafters, dental screenings by the Texas Dental Association, scoliosis & chiropractic screenings, haircuts by San Jacinto College Cosmetology School, Houston Police Department finger-printing, as well as mounted patrol & the K-9 unit, MD Anderson Hospital Blood Drive, and many others.

In addition, we give away over $5,000 of school supplies and also partner with Convoy of Hope to bring in over 35,000 pounds of groceries for the families of our community. Best of all, these services and gifts are absolutely FREE for every family that attends the event. Over 3,900 people attended our recent event.

Please consider what you might do in helping us reach our community. Through your participation, a child will go back to school healthier, with a full backpack of school supplies, and ready for a new school year.
